Ivana Krusedolac was born in Belgrade in 1979. Her childhood love for the grand classical composers Gilles Massenet and Giuseppe Verdi led her to play the piano at the age of 6. She went on to complete her graduate and master studies in piano at Belgrade Music Academy with distinction in 2004.

 

Ivana is a first and second prize winner of the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA) piano concourse in Belgrade (2003 and 2004). She has been teaching piano to adults an children in elementary and secondary music school since 2002.

 

She has taken part in various festivals in Prague, notably the Summer music academy Prague-Vienna-Budapest (2003) and AMEROPA Chamber music festival (2005). More recently she has ventured into musical productions such as Sweeney Todd (2008) and Once upon mattress (2011) with the International School of Belgrade.

 

Since 2014 Ivana has been living in Barcelona and giving piano lessons to expats from Europe and U.S. Her most recent project explores the Spanish and Latin American music heritage alongside the Colombian soprano Patricia Caicedo who is the founder of the Barcelona Festival of Song.

She has been a piano teacher of Shakira's son at the American School of Barcelona, where she is working since 2020.
